NP or PA needed to support...'...unique primary care and urgent care practice affordable healthcare practice serving the Latino community and to provide affordable healthcare services on behalf of the uninsured.

• Performing patient history and physical examinations, diagnoses, treats, and manages

acute and chronic health problems.

• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's

clinical problems, and health care needs.

• Prescribes medications or other forms of treatment as needed.

• Makes referrals to physician and other healthcare providers as necessary.

• Documents assessment, management and education clearly, concisely, and legibly

within Electronic Health Records.

• Demonstrates strong communication skills with patient and significant others to

provide feedback regarding finding and treatment plan.

• Provides education to patients and families.

The environment is different from a typical high stress clinic or hospital position. We see a

lower volume of patients and have longer appointment times with patients.

We do not dispense/prescribe for Scheduled II, sleeping medications, benzodiazepines, etc.

We are a fee for service clinic and do not take insurance.

Successful Candidates should have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in primary care and or urgent care

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• 32 to 40 hour per week.

• Excellent clinical and communication skills

• Family-practice training or experience preferred

• Graduate of accredited FNP, ANP or PA program with national certification required

• Current FNP or PA license and DEA - California

• Current BLS, preferably ACLS
