Continued Care Pharmacy is a long term care pharmacy that is a leader in really listening to their customers and clearly understands the impact pharmacy has on their accounts and residents. Providing a much more effective way to take the correct prescriptions at the correct time is just one of the many attentions to details that you will be a part of in this company.

The right candidate will engage with customers, work on building new accounts and taking on responsibilities like training clients on new policies, conducting in-service sessions, resolving client queries via phone or email, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of company products and services to effectively assist clients and the pharmacy.

Job Summary

The employee is responsible for visiting clients in the field to educate and keep them updated regarding the policies and operations of the pharmacy. Training new accounts and problem solving to ensure a smooth operation from the pharmacy and the facility.

The employee is also responsible for account management and customer relationships. Schedules appointments and implements new and current pharmacy procedures. Frequent visits to existing clients and building relationships with key leadership will be a must.

This is a dynamic position that will allow the employee to assist clients in many ways and by utilizing many personal and professional skills.

Knowledge & Experience

Skills-

Ability to prioritize, good communication and interpersonal skills, maintain composure in all situations, possess professional demeanor, able to adjust to change, ability to problem solve and work independently and ability to work under stressful conditions, ability to remain focused and follow through.

Knowledge-

Computer systems, typing, public relations, basic office clerical duties.

Education-

Pharmacy Technician Certification/License

Must have a working knowledge of healthcare terminology.
High school diploma required.

Experience- Healthcare background preferred, Post-Acute/Long term care preferred.

Authority and Accountability

Promotes good public relations through contact with clients, visitors, vendors and fellow employees and other contacts. Strives to always maintain and improve the reputation of the pharmacy.

Aptitudes

Must be able to prioritize, utilize critical thinking, and adjust to change.

Must be able to reason and use logical problem-solving skills.

Performs duties that require some latitude for independent judgment and initiative in handling situations out of the ordinary.
