Continental Properties LLC is looking for a Leasing Consultant for their Milford location to help customers make informed decisions about the properties they are interested in renting. Leasing Consultants are professionals who help landlords and property managers find qualified tenants to lease their properties to. They also assist those looking with viewing tours, lease terms, and prices negotiations. All of their efforts ensure smooth daily operations of the leasing office.

The ideal candidate will have experience with multifamily properties and knowledge of the current rental market. We are looking for someone who is a team player, excited to welcome onboard new people, and ensure the community is well maintained and the residents are happy!

Duties and Responsibilities
Greeting prospective residents and answering questions about the property

• Using your experience to market the building to new tenants
• Understanding what makes a desirable apartment to rent for someone looking for a place to live that is convenient to work in
• Understanding what makes a student or professional person want to live at our campus
• Understanding what makes a resident unhappy in their apartment
• Providing information about the building, its amenities, its history, its competitors, its future prospects, and its advertising.
• Making sure that all necessary documents are complete and accurate before the move-in process begins.
• Helping with maintenance issues as they arise. (i.e., plumbing, carpentry)
• Working with property managers to ensure that the building is kept in good condition. (i.e., fixing any damage to walls or carpets)
• Preparing rent reports for lease-up tenants (after move-in) and marketing accordingly.
