Continental Finance Company interns get real-life exposure to the daily duties of their prospected department. They spend the summer as a valued member of their respective team, learning business skills and assisting with a variety of projects that have an impact on business operations. An additional focus of the program will be to complete a final project that will be an overview of activities, tasks, and experiences throughout the 10-week program.

Essential Functions:• Responsible for execution of the project/ tasks outlined by the mentor.
• Complete reports and summary of projects fulfilled weekly.
• Meet with a mentor daily to discuss projects, reports, and questions.
• Supporting the department and company by providing innovative ideas, solutions, and an outside perspective.
• Enhance existing New Hire training by incorporating updated information to reflect recent policy and procedure changes.
• Develop a comprehensive new hire training program by conducting thorough research for each module, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback to continuously improve training materials and programs.

This is a paid position for undergraduates and is located in Amherst, NY.

The ideal candidate will have the following:• A Junior or Senior currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate in Writing, Education or Psychology
• Available to work 40 hours/week (hybrid) for a 10-week summer assignment starting on June 4th
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong customer service aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
