Job Description:
Continental Express is seeking a full time, night shift Operations Supervisor at our Louisville terminal. A valid class A CDL is required.
Primary Job Duties:
- Work in conjunction with Ohio-based Fleet Manager to manage activities of the drivers including scheduling, loading, and new driver training
- Communicate necessary load details to drivers daily and keep open line of communication with corporate headquarters
- Interact with customers to ensure all services are performed to satisfactory levels.
- Assist with reporting and handling maintenance needs for company equipment.
- Operate tractor trailer as necessary
- Must have valid CDL – A
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to effectively motivate and manage others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and general computer knowledge
