We are seeking a dedicated Event Cleaner with Event Space Resetting responsibilities to join our team at the Continental Club in the heart of West Oakland. This role involves maintaining cleanliness after events and resetting the event space, primarily during daytime hours. Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, and resetting tables, chairs, and fixtures.

**Responsibilities:**

- Clean and sanitize designated areas post-events to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.

- Sweep and mop floors thoroughly to remove debris and spills.

- Vacuum carpeted stairs and stage

- Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenishing paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other supplies as needed.

- Reset event spaces by arranging tables, chairs, furniture, and fixtures according to event requirements.

- Manage the janitorial closet and cart, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and stocked.

- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks efficiently.

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to complete tasks within specified shifts.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.

- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

- Flexibility to work daytime shifts, primarily after events, with occasional weekend availability if needed.
