Description

Continental Collision Center is looking for a Blueprinter. This is an entry level position that requires no prior experience and works closely with our Auto Body Estimators. Willing to train anyone who is looking to learn!

Qualifications: 

  • Have excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Have the ability to adapt to daily changing circumstances
  • Maintain their working area in an organized and clean condition.
  • Continuously strive to improve efficiency in the facility and the overall operation of CCC, Be willing to participate in shop meetings and training programs which are sponsored by CCC
  • Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with fellow bodyshop, CAG, and client employees
  • Be proficient in the use of all CCC management and estimating systems.
  • Must be very thorough in their documentation processes.
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must be proficient in damage analysis.
  • Must be technologically proficient

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research and print to PDF the OEM Scanning Position Statement and attach to ProfitNet
  • Review estimates and audit for accuracy prior to pre-scanning the vehicle.
  • Initiate the Pre-scan process with AsTech and follow the AsTech Pre-Scan SOP
  • Copy all Astech service submission request “comment box” information into ProfitNet notes. (Example dash light indicators and repair notes)
  • Perform a seat belt check and document the discovery in Profit
  • Follow and complete the Matrix Wand SOP
  • Print the Scan Report from AsTech and scan into ProfitNet
  • Research OEM repair procedures in coordination with the damaged panels and repaired areas. (Example, if the quarter panel has repair, we will need the quarter panel replacement OEM repair procedures in case the repair process is altered.)
  • Research OEM repair procedures for the tinsel strength of the metals in the repair area
  • Research OEM repair procedures 1 st from the OEM websites, if not available, then Alldata, then CCC Repair Methods
  • Print, in PDF form, the repair procedures and attach into ProfitNet and print a hard copy and insert attach to the paperwork
  • Ensure that the vehicle has the necessary paper work
  • Review the final bill estimate and audit for accuracy prior to post-scanning the vehicle.
  • Initiate the Post-scan process with AsTech and follow the AsTech Post-Scan SOP
  • Copy all Astech service submission request “comment box” information to ProfitNet. (Example dash light indicators and repair notes)
  • Print the Scan Report from AsTech and attach to ProfitNet
  • Instant Message the Estimator that the AsTech Scan Report has been attached in ProfitNet
  • Dispatch vehicle to the next stage (Detail)

Hours:

  • Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
