Location: Canton, MA

Pay range: $75,000.

Job Type: Full-time

Position Description

The Service and Maintenance Consultant will develop quality customer relationships with the facility and property management community to foster cooperative working relationships. Provide support on all projects to ensure customer vision and expectations are met. Maintain daily communication with the Director of Sales regarding business development proposals/sales updates such as wins, losses, issues, etc.

Position Key Criteria/Requirements

  • 5 years’ of Outside Sales Experience; Service/Maintenance Plan, Window Treatment and/or Construction sales experience a plus.
  • Successful experience designing and implementing Business Development Strategies.
  • 3 years’ experience calling on Facility and Building managers.
  • Experience with service and maintenance customer buying cycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospecting activity into sales.

Position Measurable Accountabilities

  • Attend a monthly networking (Facility management/Real Estate groups) required.
  • Ensure prospecting activity levels support sales goals according to the sales playbook.
  • Maintain a minimum 60% close rate on projects proposed to purchasing customers.
  • Maintain a 50% sales growth rate on Contexture service and maintenance products year over year.
  • Accurately report business development activity and sales information to the management team.
  • Ensure that all customer requests are responded to within 24 hours of initial contact.

Position Key Technical Competencies

  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Blue Beam Software proficiency.
  • Strategic sales planning – marketing and customer acquisition focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Excellent budget development and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
