Major Food Group is opening Contessa in Miami’s Design District and is looking for talented Pizza Cooks to join our team!

Contessa, inspired by the old-world resorts and the lasting estates of Italy, features cuisine embodying the effortless elegance of the Trattorias of Northern Italy.

Offering all-day dining with breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner and perfectly crafted cocktails, the menus showcase a range of selections from imported salumi and house made fresh pasta to dry aged Chianina Beef.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepare pizza menu offerings in accordance with recipe and quality standards
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station in accordance with health standards
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Stock inventory appropriately

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in pizza production and knowledge of variety and regionality of italian pizza
• Previous experience working with wood burning oven, convection oven and other commercial kitchen equipment
• Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills a must
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work on-site for assigned schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
