Hotel Housekeeper or Hotel Maintenance Assistant must be able to work daily shifts including weekends from about 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM or later as needed. Applicants must be honest, reliable in attendance and have reliable transportation.

Housekeepers are responsible to completely clean checked out and stay over rooms and exterior walkways and parking areas to hotel's established standards of cleanliness. Duties include, trash removal, cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping, disinfecting, deodorizing, bed making and changing linens. Duties may also include working in the laundry washing, drying, folding and distributing linen and/or maintaining cleanliness of the premises exterior including window washing, trash removal, etc. Must be able to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.

Maintenance Assistants help the Maintence supervisor routinely inspect, clean and repair interior and exterior facility structures, furnishings, fixtures and equipment for appearance, function and safety. Basic repairs and preventative maintenance are performed as needed. Previous experience in hotel maintenance, including interaction with hotel guests, and skill in the safe use of various hand and power tools is preferred. Common Hotel Maintenance Tasks include: Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment for function and safety, Performing preventative maintenance, Handling basic repairs and maintenance, Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary, Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them, Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as needed, Cleaning the exterior premises including trash pickup and removal and hosing, Basic landscaping and gardening tasks, Assisting with or performing housekeeping duties when needed, and Other duties as assigned. Requirements include: Some proven maintenance experience.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, Skill in the safe use of hand and power tools, Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques, Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts, Ability to check repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary, Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, Experience performing routine maintenance, Strong organizational and follow up skills, Eye for detail, Professional presentation and attitude, Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
Strong time management skills.
