Job Summary:

Container Technologies Industries LLC (CTI), a supplier of nuclear waste containers for DOE & DOD sites nationwide, is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at our facility in Helenwood, TN. The Vice President of Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve company goals.
• Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee all manufacturing activities, including production planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet or exceed production targets.
• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of manufacturing professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, promoting employee development and engagement.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards and quality specifications.
• Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to achieve and sustain high-quality output.

Resource Allocation:

• Manage and optimize the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain and logistics, to streamline operations.

Safety and Compliance:

• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that manufacturing activities comply with all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
• Oversee the implementation of safety programs and initiatives.

Budgetary Oversight:

• Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to achieve operational efficiency.

Technology Integration:

• Explore and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in manufacturing leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior management position.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.
• Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and costcontrol.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
