CGS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast moving, extremely active Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) environment. This position is a key role to maintain the capabilities the Army needs to remain ready and lethal on the battlefield including experience with SME for GFEBS financial information management system, GFEBS Business Intelligence (BI), work with DoD systems, and understand budgetary information in GFEBS. This position would be in office in Fort Detrick, MD. 

Job Description: 
Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) financial information management system and accounting and reporting regulations.

Experience with the GFEBS Business Intelligence (BI) reporting function.

Works with Department of Defense (DoD) systems and transactions interface into and affect GFEBS to include commitments, obligations, accruals, disbursements, cost transfers, and customer order setup and maintenance.

Requires the ability to understand and interpret detailed accounting and budgetary information in GFEBS in order to develop and prepare USAMRDC reports and analyze the overall execution status of single and multi-year appropriations.

Supports the DCSRM and other USAMRDC senior leaders in the analyses of requirements and the development of designs for information systems.

Works with array of financial management, accounting, acquisition, maintenance engineering analysis, reconciliation, legacy system conversion, management consulting, testing, implementation support, training, and managing projects.

Complies with work standards, interpret policies, procedures, and goals and objectives. Prepares reports, studies and documentation, analysis, and participates in meetings. Capable of leading subordinate level positions.
