- Oversees the day to day operations of the maintenance department and maintenance staff.
- Maintaining equipment to ensure production goals are met.
- Manage inventory and parts in CMMS system.
- Will assist Maintenance Manager in providing leadership and direction to maintenance staff.
- Communication with other department to schedule equipment maintenance in an effort to minimize down time
- Provide emergency repairs of equipment during operation.
- Will perform regular/scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs of production equipment and facilities.
- Responsible for diagnosing problem, will replace or repair parts, and test to ensure equipment is running correctly.
- Perform mechanical skills including, mechanical, electrical pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
- Assist with installment of equipment
- Read and interpret equipment manuals in order to complete required maintenance.
- Use a variety of hand tools, electric meters, and operate a forklift.
- Communicate and cooperate with all other departments and coworkers.
- Comply with safety regulations and policies.
- Carry company cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
