Job Details
The ideal candidate will primarily litigate cases under the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (“Lemon Law”) against major car manufacturers. This person must have strong writing and analytical skills, as well as strong client advocacy skills and a competitive desire to litigate. In addition to a competitive salary commensurate with experience,
Responsibilities will include:

• Meeting and conferring with defense counsel
• Drafting various motions
• Various court appearances
• Vehicle inspections and surrenders
• Taking and defending depositions
• Eventually, trials and trial preparation

Necessary Qualifications:

• Is in good standing as an active member of the California Bar.
• Has 1-3 years experience as an attorney, preferably in California lemon law / consumer protection law, products liability and/or personal injury.
• Proficiency with the California rules of civil procedure.
• Preferably proficient with Federal rules of civil procedure.
• Has a desire to take on a challenging caseload.
• Has thorough and detailed organization skills.
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Has a competitive spirit and desire to be a strong client advocate.
