Looking for a Support Staff/Caregiver to work with a client in Blue River, providing support around personal care, pet care, and household tasks. Preferred candidates will be self-motivated, patient and reliable!

***Individual must be ok with cats and frequent smoking in the home.***

HOURS:

• 56 hours a week total - approved for member
• Looking for 2 caregivers
• Back-up caregiver as well

SCHEDULE:

• Mondays - 8am-noon and 2pm-6pm
• Tuesdays - 8am-noon and 2pm-6pm
• Wednesdays - 8am-noon and 2pm-6pm
• Thursdays - 8am-noon and 2pm-6pm
• Friday - 8am-noon and 2pm-6pm
• Saturdays – noon-5pm
• Sundays – noon- 5pm

TASKS:

• Bathing
• Dressing
• Positioning
• Toileting (Incontinence and irrigation care)
• Denture care
• Transferring to and from wheelchair (minimal)
• Nail care
• Meal prep
• Laundry
• Medications
• Housekeeping

**Member does require a lot of personal cares. Someone who is comfortable and experienced is encouraged to apply!**

Other support tasks include:

• General household cleaning includes but is not limited to: dusting, floors, dishes, trash, and cleaning windows. Cleaning kitchen and bathroom.
• Laundry (including bedding)
• Attending local medical appointments
• Meal prep (full meals and snacks) and clean up
• Pet Care: cleaning litter box

If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker*

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
