Caregiver/Respite Provider - KL

Location: De Pere, WI

Wage: $14.13/hr Before taxes etc

Hours:

• Up to 20 Hours a week
• Opportunity for additional hours
• Hourly Evenings: Monday through Friday
• Occasional weekend shift, as mutually agreed upon by provider and family.

· These activities would be in the families residence at first, with the potential for activities eventually moving outside during spring/summer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Positive attitude, caring and understanding individual
• Reliable
• Can redirect behaviors
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Experience with ABA Therapy
• Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certified preferred
• Experience working with children who are non-verbal or minimally verbal

• Loves to engage and interact with others

Needs:

• Supervision: Monitor for safety
• Positive activities in the home and community
• Redirect negative behaviors
• Cultivate an environment that assists with the curiosity to try new and exciting foods
• Minimal personal cares
• Must be able to queue the member in daily living activities

Requirements:

• Provide 1:1 Supports
• Willing to undergo and pass a criminal and caregiver background check prior to hire
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proof of Insurance & Registration
• Must have prior caregiving experience and experience working with children
• Must possess the ability to be patient, kind, and caring
