Job Description:
Our client in Boise, ID is looking for a Sr
Data Architect that has experience breaking up On Premise monolith and moving it to AWS Services
This person will need to be an expert in enterprise database architecture, standards, and strategy for operational usage across the business
Expertise working in legacy data environments and transforming those is key to success here.

Required Skills:

• 7 years of Software and Application development experience
• Expertise with cloud migrations specifically AWS
• Experience being the Data Lead and guiding a team in architecture design, best practices, policies, procedures, etc.
• Experience managing logical and physical data models, enterprise data dictionary, and metadata layer
• Database schemas, design for performance, database development
• Snowflake and other Data-as-a-Service(DaaS) infrastructures
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, UML, and web architecture
• C#, LINQ, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services, writing stored procedures and queries in SQL Server, BI, Data Warehouse, NoSQL database solutions
• Expertise with SQL Server, database configuration, administration, security, clustering and replication, mirroring, backups, profiling, and maintenance

Bonus/Soft Skills:

• 3-tiered applications and/or SOA design and development
• Experience in e-commerce web based retail solutions
• Data cleansing, integrity, and quality
• Ability to create and execute large-scale enterprise design
• Experience setting ETL standards (tools, methods, and documentation), and define data archive/purge standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile software development lifecycle, dedicated to a solid user experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
