Senior SDET
Location: 100% Remote
Contract to Hire, Long term Contract

Job Description:

We are supporting a Senior Director in the Quality Assurance space, who is looking for a talented, Senior SDET.

Our client is currently going through a cloud migration of one of their systems into AWS. They need a Rockstar Sr. SDET that can help them get there. Having experience with programming/coding is super important and our client loves seeing CS degrees. Our client is looking for someone that has done both back end and front end automation, with Java/Selenium and Java/REST Assured, respectively. Some knowledge of constructing SQL queries will also be required.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent plus 7 years experience in software development and/or test automation.
Or, alternatively: Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent plus 5 years experience in software development and/or test automation.
8 years of experience

Experience must include:
Computer science fundamentals algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis
and data structures. (JAVA, Python language preferred)
Testing process, test types, test design and testing methodologies
Modern programming languages and common development technologies with software
architecture and design skills.
Functional or Performance or Security or DevOps test tools
Architecting, designing and developing automation frameworks and test suites.
Cloud related technologies
Unix/Linux environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Financial industry
• AWS certification
