LP Engineering Consultants, a well-established MEP & Fire Protection engineering firm located in Roseville, CA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Drafter/CADD Revit Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for our San Rafael and our Roseville office. We are a growing MEP & FS engineering firm in need of an experienced Electrical CAD / Revit technician (Office Buildings, Schools, Shopping Centers, Senior Housing, Municipal and Medical Facilities-No Residential) for a full-time position. Our firm provides engineering services for building systems for a wide range of projects, including school, commercial, government and medical buildings.

In this role, you will:

• Develop detailed and accurate electrical construction drawings, including power, lighting, control systems, and low voltage systems.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure the design intent is captured in the drawings.
• Utilize Revit software to create 2D and 3D electrical models, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Process architectural CAD files to create external references to be used for our sheets
• Create Electrical Sheets
• Entry level take-offs and calculations
• Drafting mark-ups from designers and project managers
• Customizing ACAD to improve production efficiency
• Participate in project coordination meetings and maintain clear communication with engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of project documentation, including calculations, schedules, and specifications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical codes and industry standards.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• An Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 years of experience as an Electrical Drafter/CAD Revit Technician in the MEP/FP engineering industry.
• Proficiency in and CAD Revit software for electrical design.
• Strong understanding of electrical symbols, codes, and design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
