We have partnered with a highly-regarded nonprofit organization to find their next Senior Accounting Manager! Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accounting Manager will help manage all finance and accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, general ledger management, budgeting/cash flow projections, and internal controls.

Main responsibilities

• Support all general accounting functions including maintaining a timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Help prepare financial reports for review by management and the board, including but not limited to, monthly and quarterly financial statements, monthly budget analyses, and annual fiscal year audited financial statements.
• Assist in developing the annual operating budget, which includes projecting and forecasting grant, operating, and capital expenditures.
• Maintain and oversee AP to ensure the organization remains in good financial standing
• Assist with the annual audit process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
• Public accounting experience and/or CPA is highly desirable
• At least 5 years of nonprofit experience in an organization with a significant operating budget.
