Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our team. As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for various projects. You will collaborate with clients and team members to bring their vision to life. The ideal candidate has a strong background in interior design, project management, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, and 20/20
- Assist client with interior finish selections (cabinets, flooring, tile, etc.)
- Assist with budgeting and cost estimation for projects
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee the installation of designs and ensure they meet quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field is preferred but not required
- Proven experience as a Designer or similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD, 20/20 or other design software
- Strong knowledge of cabinet design, flooring, tile, and other interior finishes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of project management principles is a plus
- Sales experience is a plus
