Constructiv is Hiring a Construction Manager Near West Jordan, UT

As we extend services with existing and new clients the need has arisen for qualified, dynamic construction managers. We are seeking excellent candidates that we believe would be a great addition to our team and could grow with us to a leadership position in the future.

Job Duties:

  • Provide onsite Construction Management including safety, mobilization, planning, construction, QA/QC, testing, closeout, etc.
  • Lead project team, monitoring performance, staffing projections and trend/exposure reports.
  • Manage contract change order process, claim process, cost, document and quality control efforts.
  • Review contractor documentation, change proposals and applications for payment.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and scope within approved limits; ensure project completion within guidelines set by the clients.

Minimal Qualifications:

Education:

BS degree in engineering, construction management

Work Experience:

5 years of progressively responsible experience in managing design and construction of technical project

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to manage a team and personal dynamics to drive projects forward.
  • Ability to coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and managers for project resources.
  • Fundamental knowledge and technical requirements from relevant functional area.
  • Ability to lead project meetings to facilitate project progression.
  • Proficient with Windows-based platform, computer skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills to routine and moderately complex problems.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Desire to raise standards of excellence in construction.
  • Strong familiarity with construction and electrical codes, and plan reading capabilities.
  • Strong budget and change management capabilities.
  • Accountable for adherence to projects of all Project Management policies, process, procedures, tools, and client compliance guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient with Procore Project Management Software is preferred.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Occasionally, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel up to 50% or more.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $177,000.00 per year
