Outfitting Supervisor

Wages:

$32.00 - $34.00 per hour

$150.00 Per Diem offered, if eligible

$400.00 Travel Pay

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the outfitting operations in a shipyard. This includes managing a team of outfitters and ensuring that all outfitting tasks, such as the installation of equipment and furnishings in ships, are completed according to specifications, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the outfitting team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage schedules and deadlines for outfitting projects.
• Oversee the installation of equipment and furnishings in ships.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Train and mentor new staff members.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in shipyard operations, specifically in outfitting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience: in shipyards with shipbuilding production or ship repair.
