Overview:

Construction Resources Group is looking to expand our Detailing Department. We are now accepting applications for an experienced full-time Structural and full time Custom Detailer. “CRG” is an AISC certified fabricator. We fabricate structural steel and numerous custom steel projects. Ideal applicant has experience working with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and or Inventor. Preferred applicant has advanced experience working in Inventor.

Responsibilities:

• Interprets construction drawings and specifications as well as verbal instructions.
• Able to meet multiple project deadlines while providing accurate project deliverables.
• Provides accurate redlined revisions to drawings and material parts lists.
• Our Detailers work closely with our Project Managers. Detailers must have excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to go beyond typical duties to assist co-workers and customers
• Detailer must follow and draw to CRG’s “detailing standard”

Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in a related field or equivalent of 1-year prior detailing experience
• Ability to successfully produce drawings and accurate material parts lists to support the fabrication process of our jobs

• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and display exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work occasional weekends if behind and overtime
• Proficient in Tekla, AutoCAD, or Inventor.

• Experience with Tekla or Inventor software is preferred.
