to support our Intelligence Community customers. The day-to-day:
As an Application Developer / DevOps Engineer you will join an existing team that develops and manages a software product related to discovering new mobile data related to the mission. This role includes application development in support of the mission and managing the product's infrastructure and DevOps environment. You will be working in a highly collaborative, integrated environment. The qualifications (required):
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• This customer will review and accept multiple levels of Systems Engineering experience:
• Twelve (12) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (05) years of experience in software-intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers.
• Four (04) years of experience as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection, and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems).
• The role benefits from candidates with a broad range of knowledge since it combines application development and infrastructure/DevOps.
• Experience in Java, DevOps, Scripting, Application development and Android OS familiarity.
• Experience with management of technologies, such as LDAP server, Elastic Search cluster, Docker containers, firewall rules.
• Experience with Linux administration and experience developing software in a Linux environment.
