What you will be doing

As the Fund Compliance Legal Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the operations and activities of our investment management comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will work closely with legal and compliance teams to assess regulatory risks, monitor compliance procedures, and provide guidance on legal matters pertaining to investment management.

• Conducting thorough reviews of investment management activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
• Conducting periodic compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
• Researching and analyzing complex legal issues related to investment management, including securities laws, investment regulations, and corporate governance principles
• Providing legal guidance and interpretation on regulatory matters affecting operations

What Sets You Up for Success

• A bachelors degree
• A Juris Doctor degree is preferred
• Three to five years experience in legal/finance industry
• Previous experience in fund compliance, legal analysis, or regulatory affairs within the financial services industry
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in work
