General Job Description: Compassionate, person-centered care in a small memory care home. Resident engagement and daily activities; Provide exceptional resident care to company standards; Assist in resident family relationships; Responsible for following state and regulatory compliance/guidelines.
Engage residents in meaningful relationships: Our approach to caregiving is to develop connections with our residents on a deeper level in order to provide the highest level of care. Build interpersonal communication skills while engaging in the five senses in order to better understand how each individual communicates.
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy environment inside of the house at all times.
Menu and meal preparation for up to 8 residents: Follow daily menu according to resident preference. Provide 3 homecooked meals a day including snacks.
Resident hygiene: Maintain a showering schedule and light hair/nail care.
Daily activities: Provide an exciting experience with crafts, painting, coloring, card games, bingo, exercise, outside activities and walks.
Positive and productive work environment: Our goal is to make sure all our staff members concerns are heard and addressed, as well as ensure that they have support they need from Managers, Director and Owner. We promote a quality of life outside of the workplace by providing flexible scheduling, PTO and sick leave.
Preferred experience and requirements:
Constant Care is looking for individuals who are driven to build a connection with our residents and are able to provide compassionate care. We are always willing to train individuals who do not have previous experience, but have a passion for caregiving and are self-motivated to provide a meaningful life to our elderly community!
