Consor is currently seeking a Senior Roadway Designer to be located in one of our offices in Washington (Bellevue, Vancouver, or Seattle). Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

You will enjoy a wide variety of interesting assignments, including:

• Work with multi-disciplinary technical teams
• Performs work that involves conventional types of plans, methods, and solutions with moderately complex features
• Performs basic engineering analysis, design, and detailing of project plans and construction material quantities
• Uses computer-aided design and drafting systems to prepare working plans and detailed drawings (Civil 3D Experience Preferred)
• Develops and delivers complete design and project bid packages
• Makes or revises maps, charts, and diagrams
• Provides construction support
• Uses computer programs to facilitate organization and accuracy of engineering calculation

Required Credentials

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university (preferred) or equivalent experience
• Familiar with WSDOT Standard Plans and Specifications
• Self-starter/takes initiative
• Positive attitude/team player/able to accept constructive feedback
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• 25 years previous transportation-related design experience
• Successful elective coursework or training focusing on roadway, utility, and stormwater design
