CONSOR Engineers is Hiring a Contract Support Specialists Near Tampa, FL

What Your Day Will Look Like
As a project support specialist, you`ll manage the document control systems as well as the creation and accuracy of multiple types of project data tracking and other contract documents for excavations, drainage facilities, road surfaces, and structures. You`ll work closely with the project office and field staff to ensure proper assembly and storage of critical documents, conformed record drawings and contract change instruments. Collaborate with field staff to share consistent, intimate knowledge of project progress, installed quantities, underruns and overruns, current and changing procedures, and overall project information flow. The contract support specialist reports to the project administrator.

What You'll Do
  • Assemble the monthly progress payments and all supporting information per project procedure.
  • Guide the project staff in preparation of all documentation for final estimate submission throughout the construction project duration.
  • Exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office and document control aspects of the project.
  • Develop and maintain good communication with members of the contract team such as the client, contractor, and other stakeholders.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor of Science degree, HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of construction inspection experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • This field job primarily operates in outside work environments that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements. While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, and occasional sitting or operating a company vehicle. This job may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
