Consolidated Pipe & Supply Co Inc is Hiring an Accounting Administrator Near Chattanooga, TN
Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a full-line supplier, fabricator, and manufacturer of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services to the natural gas, waterworks, energy, and industrial sectors.
Our company is looking for a skilled accounting administrator to oversee accounts payables. The accounting administrator will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling customer accounts. They will process payments to our vendors and maintain up-to-date records of all invoices and receipts. The candidate will also provide support to our finance team at our home office.
- Oversee all outstanding supplier, customer, and third-party vendor accounts.
- Process, send, and store bank deposits and invoices.
- Identify and address discrepancies in documentation.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures and best practices
- Must have strong time-management skills.
- Capability to stay organized and maintain detailed records.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of finance or accounting
- Skilled knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in data entry
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving
