Performs a variety ofmanual labor tasks that are assigned. Laborers work primarily outdoors and occasionally have to work inadverse weather conditions. Assist withsnow removal in the winter months. 

·Installa variety of erosion control products including; silt fence, erosion logs, soilretention blanket, etc

·Installplants in native areas and formal landscaping

·Clearingsediment.

·Operatehand and power tools of all kinds, including but not limited to: shovels, earthtampers, lawn mowers and string trimmers, cement mixers and a variety of otherequipment and instruments

·Loadand unload materials, clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces tosupport the side of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, deploy liner systems, install storm water BMPs such as silt fence and wattle

·Maysignal operator to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery,equipment and materials

·Mayassist other crew members

·Maylubricate, clean and repair machinery, equipment and tools

·Loading / unloading materials

·Cleaning shop, yard and vehicles

·Must work when schedules, be on time and ready to work withproper PPE

·Willingand able to follow directions and take instruction from Foreman; reports to Foreman about dailywork

·Works independently and completes daily activitiesaccording to instruction and work schedule.

·Completes any other duties assigned by Foreman

·Follows all policies of CDI and clients of CDI

·Outside various groundsurfaces

·Various weatherconditions: heat, cold, rain or snow

·Physicalstrength; hand eye coordination and endurance

·Liftup to 80 lbs; transfer vertically items weighing up to 100 lbs

·Abilityto left, pull, push up to 100 lbs

·Bendand squat

·Climbstairs and ladders; tolerate heights up to 20 ft

·Abilityto utilize site sanitary facilities (porta-john)

·Passpre-hire physical

·Passpre-hire, post-incident and random drug testing

·Mustbe able to work at any time of the day or night during the snow removal season

·Abilityto tolerate various weather conditions.

·Haveyour own transportation to job-sites located throughout extended metro area
