Consolidated Asset Management Services is Hiring an Environmental specialist Near Cheshire, OH

General James M. Gavin Power Plant is a 2,600-megawatt supercritical coal-fired power station in the village of Cheshire, Ohio, United States.

It is owned by Lightstone Generation LLC, a 50 50 joint venture of The Blackstone Group L.P. and ArcLight Capital Partners.

The Environmental Air Specialist specializes in environmental compliance with Air Quality Programs at a coal-fired power plant and oversees implementation and management of environmental regulatory and permit requirements as well as compliance documentation obligations.

Provides oversight and maintenance of multi-media environmental programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and Corporate Policies.

This includes providing required Environmental training and self-assessments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs oversight and compliance for the implementation of all necessary federal and state environmental permit requirements, including the development and preparation of reports to Federal and State regulatory agencies and implementing procedures, guidance, and aids to facilitate compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and complete improvement plans to support initiatives to reach top performance in environmental areas.
  • Participate in or lead accident / incident investigations, environmental audits, regulatory inspections, and other components of the facility environmental program.
  • Develop, prepare, submit, and maintain regulatory required reports to Federal and State regulatory agencies.
  • This position will require approximately 10% travel.
