Conservation Society of California is Hiring a Supervisor, Guest Services Attractions Near Oakland, CA

Hourly Pay Rate: $22.86

Position Summary 

Operations Supervisors - Attractions are important members of our team and play a key role in providing excellent service to our guests. They develop and supervise Attractions Operators to ensure all visitors receive outstanding service with a focus on safety. This is achieved by having a complete understanding of the operation of all rides and gondola and supporting the Attractions team at every training level. 

Essential Job Duties 

  • Supervise and support attractions operators in providing the highest quality of service to our guests. 

  • Organizing staff break schedule 

  • Training staff 

  • Testing employees on ride operation 

  • Ensure assigned workstations are properly staffed and operational. 

  • Oversee operation of all riders and rides to ensure safe operation and adherence to policies and procedures. 

  • Monitor staff to include rest breaks, meal breaks, training, schedules, and answer questions, etc. 

  • Demonstrate superior customer service with customers, both internal (i.e., co-workers) and external (vendors, visitors, customers, etc.). 

  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and support, Oakland Zoo’s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of behavior. 

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
