Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately transcribe medical documentation and assist with medical record management. Duties:
- Accompany healthcare professionals during patient visits and accurately document medical encounters in real-time
- Transcribe medical information, including patient history, physical examinations, diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions
- Organize and maintain electronic medical records (EMRs) and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper coding and billing for services rendered
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Familiarity with various medical documentation systems (EMRs)
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals, patients, and other staff members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in internal medicine or emergency room settings is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
