Pay Rate:$20-21/hr

Shift :7:00 AM - 3:00 PM , 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Hours/day: 8*5 (40hrs/wk)

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long-Term Care (LTC)/ Acute Care

Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in both Long-Term Care (LTC) and Acute Care settings, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, providing essential care and support to patients or residents.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Assist patients or residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting in accordance with their care plans.

Vital Signs Monitoring: Record and report patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.

Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning, ensuring safety and comfort.

Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a compassionate and caring environment.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, changes in condition, and interactions.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Adherence to Protocols: Follow established protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines in delivering care.

Acute Care Specific Duties: In acute care settings, assist with procedures, wound care, and other medical interventions as directed by healthcare providers.

Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to relay important information and provide updates on patient progress.

Qualifications:

Valid CNA certification/license in the state.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in LTC and/or Acute Care settings is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.

Understanding of basic medical terminology and procedures.
