We’re looking for a team oriented compassionate medical assistant to join our growing sports medicine and pain management practice!

We are a fast paced, dedicated, patient-focused medical practice, that is looking for the best outcomes for our patients!

Job Type:

· Full Time

Work Hours:

· Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Compensation:

· $17-22/hour

*Compensation is based on experience, skill, certifications, and number of years of medical assisting in a physician’s office.

Essential Skills:

· Typing and computer skills

· Able to compassionately speak to patients on the phone and in person

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to multitask

Preferred Skills:

· Ability to independently set up a sterile field

· Ability to prepare syringes for injections using sterile technique

· Experience with use of autoclave and sterilizing equipment

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

· Work as part of a team

· Room patients

· Obtaining vital signs

· Obtaining history and main reason for visit

· EMR Documentation

· Preparing procedure rooms for procedures and minor surgeries

· Directly assisting our physician with patient care and procedures

· Triage phone calls

· Schedule appointments as needed

Keys to Success:

· Strong communication skills

· EMR and Computer skills. EclinicalWorks experience is a plus!

· Ability to multitask

· Ability to work well with a team

· Ability to take instructions well

· Ability to adapt and be flexible to a change in the workday

Ability to commute:

· Reliable ability to commute to McKinney, 75070 4 and a half days a week.

· Reliable ability to commute to Plano, 75024 ½ day a week.

Certifications:

· High School or High School Equivalent

· Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)

· CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Preferred)

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
