Position Responsibilities: Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff and assist employees or members in solving complex account problems Create and maintain an up-selling environment within the branch to help achieve financial objectives Manage the security and safety of the branch; analyze and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis; ensure that staff receive on-going training on security and robbery procedures Responsible for the scheduling of staff to ensure adequate staffing levels at branches Identify and manage all product, system and service training for Member Services employees Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch; ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies Monitor branch activity, including number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, teller and loan personal sales, and new accounts; and perform counter transactions, problem solve, open new accounts and assist with other inquiries as needed Conduct loan interviews; process, approve and/or close loans as needed Lead monthly Branch Manager Department meetings Comply with all Federal Regulations as they pertain to your job duties, including BSA Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required 3 years of experience in a financial organization in a supervisory role required Prior successful sales and service experience required Ability to obtain and maintain the NMLS certification Evidence of excellent verbal communication skills along with an outgoing personality that demonstrates a positive, friendly and energetic attitude Ability to remain calm under pressure when dealing with difficult situations and to be entrusted with the handling of confidential and personal matters Strong time management, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficient keyboarding and 10- key calculator skills, along with the knowledge and ability to efficiently navigate among numerous computer systems Demonstrated ability to be a team player, with willingness to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment Ability to travel to other branches within the area as necessary Connexus offers employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Five weeks of paid time off Seven Paid Holidays Sixteen hours of volunteer time off, annually Health, Dental, Vision insurance Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts Life insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401k retirement with company match Employee Assistance Program Connexus Credit Union's Recent Recognitions: 2022 Best Credit Union – Bankrate 2022 Best Checking Account – Forbes Advisor 2021 Best Credit Union – Bankrate 2020 Best Credit Union in the U.S. – Kiplinger Fifth Largest Credit Union in Wisconsin (by asset size)
