Job Title: Vice President of Engineering
Salary: $200-$250k plus bonus $35K & stock options
Location: Providence RI 02903 (Relocation Package Available)
Duration: PERM
Hours: M-F 1st Shift

Overview:
We are looking for an energetic Vice President of Engineering to join the team reporting to the Chief Executive.
Duties:

• Responsible for overseeing the entire engineering lifecycle, from concept to implementation, and for ensuring that all engineering activities align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Act as a true business partner to the senior management team, assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the Company’s long-term strategy.
• Work with the Chief Financial Officer and CEO in overseeing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring progress, and reviewing financial metrics both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• Masters in electrical engineering, applied physics with emphasis on optical systems. (Ph.D. Preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 8 years of relevant job experience.
• Effective communication (email, verbal, written) with team members and other senior management.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (successful candidates will be required to undergo a rigorous background investigation to obtain a security clearance, which is mandatory for this position).
