The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the operations for our Patient Support Programs. They will also lead and support the development of new and existing aspects of assigned pharma program operations, organize and lead program operational meetings such as periodic business reviews (quarterly business reviews), and develop new project goals and execution timelines. In addition, the Operations Manager will provide assistance with implementing and executing new programs for existing pharma partners.
Operations Manager Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage & lead the operations to monitor daily activities to provide a high-performance work environment.
  • Understands client objectives and incorporates objectives into program service goals Ensures program services in compliance with contracted service level.
  • Achieving quarterly and annual key performance goals.
  • Support relationships with MFC Patient Support Programs.
  • Responsible for the implementation and on-going management of client-specific business rules Oversee the operational processes of all functions of the patient journey.
  • Oversee the operational support of end-to-end procedures that support new program initiatives Lead and conduct ongoing team meetings with Patient Services Team.
  • Analyze and report operational and performance trends to account executives to ensure ongoing optimal performance.
  • Track and analyze product level key performance indicators, identify trends and work with pharmacy & HUB operations to develop recommendations for improvement when applicable Communicates with patients and physician office staff to resolve inquiries.
  • Compliance with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for personnel.
  • Work directly with Executive Teams, advise on operations & reimbursement components of the patient journey and participate where needed in client interactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Operations Manager Position Qualifications:
  • Education/Learning Experience
    • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Work Experience
    • Required: 6 year in pharmacy or HUB operations management, previous team management
    • Desired: Prior specialty pharmacy tech experience
  • Skills/Knowledge
    • Required: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, CRM Salesforce.com user experience, medical terminology (including sig codes), band and generic names of medications and general pharmacy terminology. Computer skills; proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, word processing, and efficient use of online systems. High Degree of accuracy and organizational skills to maintain consistently accurate records. Knowledge of general accounting principles and the ability to understand department operations. Team player and team worker; proven performer. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, rations, and proportions in practical solutions. Self-motivated and results driven.
    • Desired: The ability to understand and comply with all healthcare compliance guidelines and policies. Business acumen, strong platform skills and experience presenting to large groups on complex subject matter is preferred. Established with MS products (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
  • Travel is required occasionally
