Job Summary:
Connections Ministry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, walks with individuals and families experiencing homelessness by extending a radical welcome that provides dignity, shelter, and community. Through our seasonal homeless shelter and drop-in center, Connections works with community partners to serve those experiencing homelessness. Working with a highly motivated and cohesive team, the Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in the daily operations of the drop-in center and shelter.

What You'll Do:
The Logistics Coordinator will tend to the many details involved in the operations of the shelter and the drop-in center by:

• Extending hospitality and welcome to those entering the drop in center.
• Answering phones and triaging calls for shelter and coordinated entry.
• Maintaining drop-in center calendar and assisting with scheduling guest appointments.
• Maintaining the inventory of supplies and donations at the drop-in center and shelter.
• Managing the coordination of volunteers.
• Assisting with data entry and tracking.
• Making weekly supply runs.
• Assisting with mailings, PR campaigns, managing social media
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
Minimum of Highschool diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

Proficiency in Google Drive including spreadsheets and word processing.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds.

Requires a valid driver’s license.

Position Type:

Full Time, Hourly – 40 hrs per week. Weekday, daytime hours. Actual schedule is flexible depending on the needs of the candidate.
