Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preschool Director to join our team. The Preschool Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and managing a team of dedicated educators. This is a leadership role that requires strong educational administration skills, strategic planning abilities, and budgeting expertise. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff, and the community.

Duties:
- Implementation of Learning Beyond Paper, a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of all students

- Provide strategic planning and vision for the preschool program

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the preschool, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and community members

- Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities

- Collaborate with parents to support their child's educational journey

- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students and staff

Skills:
- Strong educational background in early education or related field

-Proven experience in strategic planning and budgeting

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others

- Knowledge of educational administration principles and practices

- Effective communication skills both verbal and written

- Ability to build positive relationships with parents, staff, and community members

- Proficient in using technology for administrative tasks

Salary: $30,000

12 month, 25 hour salary position

Preschool: August-May

Summer Camp: June-July

Connections Preschool has been teaching children in Raleigh for over 15 years. We are a ministry of Forest Hills Baptist Church located near NC State University and Meredith College. We believe that children learn best through play, guided by teachers that care for and nurture them. We also believe that each preschooler and their family are special to God and are an important part of the Connections Preschool family. All are welcome here!We are a half day preschool program, operating from the hours of 9-12, during the months of September-May. We offer the option of adding lunch bunch 12-1. Connections Preschool is blessed with caring, tenured teachers, and small class sizes. Our enrichment programs include Music and Movement, Process Art and Science. We incorporate the love of Christ through culture, community, and creativity. During the months of June and July, we offer a summer camp from the hours of 9-1pm. Camp Forest Hills, is opened to children who are potty trained through 5th grade.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $29,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
