Our client, a 200 bed healthcare facility located in Northern NC, located about 1 hr from Raleigh and about 45 mins from Durham, is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist Coordinator to join their team. This is an Evening shift position.

$10k commitment bonus paid over 2 years. 5k in relocation with receipts.

Position Summary:

Coordinates activities of the appropriate laboratory section including responsibility for problem solving, systems control, equipment maintenance, performance of complex procedures, writing and updating procedure manuals, inventory/ordering supplies, and teaching as assigned. Performs routine laboratory analysis as appropriate; performs other related duties as assigned.

Reports to the Director of Laboratory

Minimum Education

Associate's degree with medical laboratory technician training or 4 years of Laboratory training and experience to be eligible to obtain national certification in the Medical Technologist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) category required

Bachelor of Science or MT Degree with medical technology clinical training preferred

Minimum Work Experience

One year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician as a Generalist.
