A colleague of mine is working with a hospital who is in search of an ICU Manager to join their team. The ICU has 17 beds. The hospital is located about 45 mins from Fayetteville, NC.

• POSITION SUMMARY
• The Unit Manager is a nurse leader who provides direction, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care for assigned area on a 24 hour bases. He/she maintains current knowledge regarding techniques, skills, current practices, and regulations for the age and populations of patients served. He/she manages all personnel, supplies, and equipment necessary to facilitate quality patient care. Also functions as a Staff RN occasionally.
• EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum Required:
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina.
• BSN required.
• Preferred:
• Minimum of 3-5 years recent clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills.

Reports to Director of ICU.
