Welcome to Connections for Kids!Position: Residential Social WorkerLocation: Gorham, MaineSchedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift!Compensation: $65K Plus Amazing Benefits, including Tuition Reimbursement!Requirements: Masters Degree and Licensure, Conditional Licensure or Licensure Eligibility.Benefits: Tuition Reimbursement,Competitive salary, up to $65,000 per year,Top tier full benefits package for full time employees with no waiting period on insurance benefits,403b retirement plan with matched contributions,34 paid days off in your first year, which increases with longevity (for full time),11 paid holidays,Relaxed and casual work environment,Supervision hours to obtain your full license,Mileage Reimbursement,Company issued laptop and cell phone,Discounts to area businesses such including an 18% Verizon discount,Discounted pet insurance,Participation in the Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness Program,A hands-on team that is committed to the growth and success of our staff!Qualifications: Have a Master's degreeAre Licensed, Conditionally Licensed or Eligible for Licensure in Maine,Hold a valid drivers license and proof of auto insuranceHave a positive attitude and a strong work ethicEnjoy being part of a fun, upbeat teamResponsibilities: Provides individual and milieu therapy services and documents all treatment in case notes and treatment plans;Maintains regular contact with referral sources; takes referrals when needed and participates in the intake process;Collaborates and develops the treatment plans for each client, responsible for writing all Individual Treatment Plans, Vineland, Comprehensive Assessments, Case Notes, and Discharge Summary;Maintains residential files within the established protocols and policy guidelines to ensure clarity, continuity and confidentiality;Completes case notes daily and submits billings sheets in accordance with documentation policy;Completes KEPRO Continued Stay Reviews as needed and on time;Coordinates the collaborative contact between family and other invested community service providers to ensure a best practice approach to treatment;Provides clinical and education guidance at staff meetings;Documents collateral contacts including telephone and email pertaining to treatment;Helps to manage crisis interventions when arise.Attends meetings that are focused on the identified client as needed;Follows mandated reporter requirements for abuse and neglect of any client and others;Coordinates and/or participates in any post-treatment aftercare planning or treatment;Attends all CFK meetings that are necessary;Communicates weekly with Supervisor and maintains full adherence to the standards and ethics that serve as the foundation for licensing as social workers;Attends professional trainings and workshops to maintain licensing requirements;Clear and professional documentation of all services provided in accordance with existing social work standards and State of Maine licensing requirements and program policies and procedures;Upholds professional conduct and boundaries at all times;Other duties as agreed upon by the House Manager or Director.On occasion, may need to transport residents in personal vehicle.Expectations: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;Ability to work as a team player;Experience working with children in a variety of settings;Creative, caring and have the ability to be sensitive to a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic attributes and environments.Able to be organized and prioritize workload;Ability to meet deadlines;Self-motivated;Willing to be trained in TF-CBT, CPR/FA and Safety Care;Knowledge of child and adolescent development and behavior management;Must maintain a valid drivers license, an acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance, to be verified regularly;Must be able to successfully complete all phases of pre-service training and on-going training as required by state and CFK policy;Must be able to work in occasionally high pressure, high stress environment.Connections for Kids is an Equal Opportunity Employer!https://connectionsforkids.org/
