Connection is Hiring an AV Technician (FT) Near Falmouth, MA
- Work with scientists, staff, and students to assemble video and electronic media for instruction, presentation, Internet, and broadcast purposes.
- Provide support for seminars, webinars, and hybrid events using Zoom, Webex, or Teams.
- Operate and troubleshoot current distance learning teleconferencing gear. Responsible for set-up and maintenance of teleconferencing unit(s).
- Set up and manage large virtual events and live webcasts using multiple platforms and products.
- Maintain and upgrade electronic display equipment and materials.
- Instruct and schedule support staff as necessary.
- Provide virtual video and audio services for live events.
- Provide classroom AV equipment support.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of video and audio recording gear including microphone and PA system configurations and setup.
- Expertise with video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Webex, and MS Teams.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary as they relate to desktop support services.
- Working knowledge of multiple computer operating systems and configuration.
- Maybe some local travel to other locations – should have a car.
- Knowledge of multimedia presentation/projection equipment.
