Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Aide to support our Gaps Program Refugee Services Case Manager. This program offers resettlement support and acculturation services to Cuban and Haitians Entrants and other Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) designated populations. The Case Aide will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including data entry, paperwork management, appointment scheduling, and document copying. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive timely and efficient support.

Note: This is a temporary position through 9/30/24.

There are options for full-time and part time hours during CIRI office hours (9-5), dependent on availability of candidates.

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Management:
    • Accurately enter client information and case details into the database.
    • Maintain and update electronic and physical files.
    • Ensure all data is entered in a timely manner and is up-to-date.
  • Paperwork and Documentation:
    • Prepare and organize the necessary paperwork for client appointments.
    • Copy and file documents as required for client records.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation as needed.
  • Client Appointments:
    • Schedule and confirm appointments for clients with various service providers.
    • Communicate appointment details to clients clearly and effectively.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and available for client appointments.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Assist the Case Manager with daily administrative tasks.
    • Respond to client inquiries and provide information or direct them to the appropriate resources.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the GAPS Refugee Services Case Manager and program clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Compassion and a genuine desire to help vulnerable populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
