About the Job

The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance programs, inspections, and corrective actions. This is a full-time, onsite role and the Compliance Coordinator will work cross-functionally with all onsite teams to oversee safety and training programs, ensure compliance, and train personnel as needed.

What You Will Do

• Perform quarterly audits against AZDHS, Connected’s local licensed partner and OSHA requirements
• Liaise with Trulieve, including site visits and monthly SharePoint audits, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on compliance matters
• Upload the following to SharePoint: FA Cards, contact lists, COA test results, testing trip plans, training records, plant inventories, annual customer paperwork, visitor logs, waste logs and wholesale reports
• Create and deploy new compliance, safety and security programs
• Prepare and submit reports to management regarding compliance, safety and security status, issues and recommendations.
• Analyze cultivation and operations processes to identify areas for improvement regarding compliance and safety
• Oversee testing of products including sample selection and coordination with testing labs
• Process FA card applications and renewals
• Interpret new law changes and regulatory updates and communicate their implications with manager and site personnel
• Train relevant personnel on compliance procedures, ensuring a thorough understanding of requirements and protocols.
• Interface with customers to address compliance concerns
• Manage external safety and security vendors including setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback and upgrading service
• Keep Compliance and Safety Drives current
• Attend Arizona Dispensary Association meetings and disseminate information to key stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Compliance Analyst or Coordinator in a highly regulated industry (e.g. cannabis, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods)
• Knowledge of AZDHS and OSHA regulations
• Ability to effectively explain compliance requirements and provide support to a broad scope of business partners including Cultivation, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and HR personnel
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• 21 years

• Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift
• Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
• Requires normal hearing range
