Job DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Local Travel Registered Nurse (Hospice) near Glenwood Springs, CO 13 weeks Field RN position - Days Up to $2,200/week based on experienceJob Description:
Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.
Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the highest quality of care for patients and their families.
Administer medications, manage symptoms, and provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding end-of-life care, pain management, and comfort measures.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary teamwork.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and educational opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in hospice care.
Requirements:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
