Job Description:
Provide respiratory therapy services according to physician orders and established protocols.
Assess patients with breathing disorders and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and ventilator management as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management techniques.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and timely.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
Current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Louisiana.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
