Connected Health Care is Hiring a Registered Nurse - OR - Surgery Center Near Naples, FL

Position Title: Operating Room RN (Direct Hire)
Start Date: Immediate
ASC Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
Schedule: Weekdays only, no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call
Location: Ft. Myers, FL 33912
Number of OR Suites: 4 (specializing in orthopedics and spine)
Surgeries per month: 10-25 daily, totaling 200-300 monthly

Position Summary:
The Operating Room RN will deliver nursing care within the surgical center, ensuring patient needs are met in alignment with physician instructions and facility protocols. Participation in quality improvement initiatives under the direction of the Director of Nursing is expected. The role demands setting priorities, making clinical decisions, and serving as a resource for complex patient care.
Duties Include, but not Limited to:
Maintaining surgical services in accordance with policies and regulatory standards
Assisting in establishing and monitoring operating room standards
Ensuring efficient patient care and quality improvement
Collaborating with physicians to optimize patient outcomes
Assisting in staffing and operational processes
Adhering to facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Actively participating in Quality Improvement Committee(s)
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED holder, with a degree from an accredited nursing school (Associate's degree or higher)
Current RN licensure in the state
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Operating Room nursing
Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center preferred
Physical Setting: Ambulatory surgery center, Operating room
Standard Shift: Day shift
Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday
Experience:
Operating Room: 2 years (Preferred)
Medical-Surgical: Experience preferred
